The town stands on ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert (the Great Indian Desert).

Discipline shall be maintained during the camp and all the instructions given by the guide/instructor shall be strictly followed.

Smoking, tobacco, alcohol & drugs are strictly prohibited and if anyone get to be caught, immediately cancellation of member’s participation and NO further service/return ticket/refund will be paid.

The campsite area permits only pure veg food.

Photography in defense and restricted areas are strictly prohibited and can lead to defense actions.

Speaking abusive languages is strictly prohibited and can lead to cancellation of participation in the camp.
